Sons of Essex is inviting the most nefarious of New Yorkers to its “Naughty Ghosts” Halloween party. The Lower East Side’s rustic speakeasy will become the ghouls’ underground, so don your most haunting attire.
Arrive early for hour-long access to a Brugal rum open bar. Grab your ghastly cohorts and head over to the cozy octangular seating area while a live DJ spins a devilish mashup. The wood ceilings and red weathered walls in this folksy nitery set the scene for the LES’s steamiest haunted house. Pick up a VIP package to take your haunted evening to the next level with perks such as bottle service and special access.
Sip libations at the wooden bar underneath bulbs dangling from chains. The vintage mirrors, reclaimed wood, and brass chandeliers that surround you at Sons of Essex feel straight out of a horror story, but the tufted leather banquets, books, and murals lend just enough of a cozy air. Jeremy Renner, Drake, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Jason Segal have all been seen at this LES hotspot and it’s fair to say it’s known for delivering a good time.
NY ghouls, abandon your virgin whites and let yourself escape into this devilish playground – 133 Essex is the only thing you need to remember this Halloween.
